The M3/2 class high speed steel is capable of producing highly wear resistant parts with good toughness and excellent red hardness due to the combination of tungsten, molybdenum and vanadium alloying elements which produce hard and temperature resistant alloy carbides .The material can be used in the full dense state using a vacuum sintered part production process or as a porous material when sintered using continuous furnaces with mixed gas.
